ntebogang sebetlelaDeputy Director of MediaNtebogang Sebetlela is a holder of a Bachelor of Broadcasting and Journalism and an Associate Degree in Radio and Television from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology. Having various experience in the media industry, since 2011. Ms. Sebetlela worked for The Department of Broadcasting Services in Botswana under Botswana Television as a Sports Reporter and Producer. Her time with BTV saw her become one of the most sort after producers, so much she got assigned to produce her country,s first world cup: The Netball World Youth Cup (2017) which earned her a certificate of recognition from the local organizing committee. Many live sports programmes she produced included Enole Sports Show, which is broadcasted every Saturday afternoon on the national television, Tshamekang and Final Whistle. Also a radio enthuasist, Ntebogang Sebetlela she is also highly experienced in Radio as she reported Sports also for Radio Botswana (RB 2), as well as present live shows on radio more especially on female athletes every Monday.
In 2017 she was chosen to become the media liaison officer for International Working Group on Women and Sports(IWG). A bubbly and outspoken individual, Ms. Sebetlela have been part of panels on different issues that compels participates to change and level the playing ground for women in sports, such as; TELL THEIR STORY: LEVERAGING MEDIA TO ADVOCATE FOR WOMEN’S SPORTS. Her articulation of issues saw her becoming part of the Botswana Sports Writers Association executive committee, a position she held until making a career move to Sierra Leone, where she is currently residing and lecturing Media Studies. Ms. Sebetlela is also a graduate of The Women's Sport Leadership Academy (WSLA),2017 which is dedicated to developing tomorrow's leaders of sport. WSLA is a partnership between the Anita White Foundation (AWF), Females Achieving Brilliance (FAB) and the University of Chichester (UoC) and provides unique development opportunities for women leaders from around the world to step up, take the lead and make an impact. |
